With so much to choose from, we asked the parents on the 25-26 School Council for a list of their highlights!

- Curriculum night – get an overview of the school and meet your student’s first semester teachers
- Meet the Parents (immediately after curriculum night) – social time for parents and caregivers at The Granite Brewery
- Parent Coffees (Grade 9-12, Post-secondary) and bi-weekly Walking Buddies – a great way to meet other parents and enjoy conversation around shared interests all year
- Homecoming football game – a great time to watch a Red Knight game with alumna
- Northern athletics games/intramurals/Northern Spirit Days – all year
- Awards ceremony – held during the school day in the fall for the previous academic year (parents usually not invited)
- Parent-Teacher Interviews – get an update on your student and find out what lies ahead
- United Way Fashion Show – an annual tradition featuring and produced by students
- December Holiday teacher thank you – breakfast for staff hosted by School Council
- Winterfest/Spring Concert – musical performances by Northern students
- STEM Alumni panel – an opportunity to meet alumni and discuss career opportunities in different STEM areas
- Robotics Team – the Northern Knight Owls give presentations and demonstrations, and compete provincially and nationally
